Age Limit
- There is NO upper age limit for JEE Main 2026 as per the latest NTA guidelines
- Candidates born on or before October 1, 2007 are eligible for JEE Main 2026 (tentative)
Class 12 / Qualifying Examination
- Passed Class 12 (10+2) or equivalent from a recognized board in 2024 or 2025
- Appearing in Class 12 board exams in 2026 are also eligible to apply
- Compulsory subjects: Physics and Mathematics, along with Chemistry / Biology / Biotechnology / Technical Vocational Subject
- Minimum 75% aggregate in Class 12 required for admission to NITs / IIITs / CFTIs (65% for SC/ST candidates)
